Meet Dr. Huntley

Dr. J. Douglas Huntley, DMD, is a 1991 graduate of Rutgers University’s New Jersey School of Dental Medicine. He completed his General Practice Residency at Saint Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, New York City, in 1992.

About our approach

Every visit here starts with your comfort and safety. We follow strict infection control protocols to protect every patient, and we take a gentle, understanding approach with anyone who’s had a difficult dental experience in the past, so you feel at ease with us. On fluoride, we recommend topical fluoride treatments applied directly to the teeth, but we advise against systemic fluoride supplements. We also follow the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry’s guidance that children have their first dental visit by age one. For any treatment we don’t provide ourselves, we’re glad to refer you to a trusted specialist.

Services we offer

• Composite (white) and amalgam (silver) fillings, plus lab-fabricated restorations in precious metal, porcelain, or zirconia
• Implant-supported tooth restorations
• Limited oral surgery, including extractions

Services we do not provide

• Root canal therapy and endodontics
• Advanced oral surgery, including wisdom tooth extractions and deep sedation
• Orthodontics for teens and adults
• Children’s deep sedation and hospital dentistry
• Dentures, both partial and complete
• Adult periodontal pathology, maintenance, and specialty care
